The one you posted is probably up there. Maybe at the top. I liked a lot of his comics and was really hoping he'd stick around. Would have loved to see his takes on newer characters and the kind of comics he'd have done with them if he had stayed around.

He only ever really knew how to draw one or two male and female bodies but he got a lot out of them. The detail he went with was really odd sometimes. Especially when doing porn of shows that don't usually have that much detail. But I thought there was some awkward charm in it all the same. Kamehasutra being his magnum opus.

I know what you mean. But what I'm saying is that I don't think it was anything iffy like you were implying. Nothing he was doing was anything someone with anatomical knowledge couldn't do. A lot of it was just adding more and more detail until it was full of it. Even if it was too much for even a real person to have. He didn't have any of the tell tale signs of directly copying from something like an artist similar to Anaxus would have.

As far as I understand no, not dead. A lot of artists from that era disappeared after they joined that Milftoon or other groups and when that all went bust a lot of them just packed the whole thing in. Others gave into insults and pressure and quit because it got to them eventually. DTiberius like a lot of them is hard to pinpoint exactly what happened. Social media really wasn't a thing like it has been for the last decade or so so there isn't really accounts of things around.

I don't like to downplay other artists, but yes. Anaxus is an example of someone just tracing stiffly for years and years and not really learning anything from it. It really comes across when something he's doing requires a hand or arm to be bent in a different direction than the source he's copying from. He just twists and bends things like noodles to make it work. He clearly knows his coloring but the rest falls short.

Gloryhole Much? is peak hentai, but I wish they'd finished Queen of The Hive, that one was hot.

I miss a lot of the old /co/ artists like geers, fluffy, lhk, jebb, etc, and many other older artists who did absolute stellar work but up and disappeared with no trace like Andy & Nathan from Atomictoy.org, their DBZ parody was god tier. And basically everyone else Andy linked to on his site (except Eisu, Alex Ahad, and Bryan Lee O'Malley, who made it big... still remember playing those Skullgirls betas from 2005). They did make three sequels to their DB parody but all three were unfinished, even though they were all insanely hilarious.
Andy did become a dad so I can understand him not having time for funny comics, but I have no idea what happened to Nathan or ilikepies.

speaking of which, their WH40k Slut Patrol was the best thing ever. And that one was left unfinished too.

Yeah, dtiberius has to be on top simply on account of how many unfinished comics he had. Plus he showed extreme levels of art improvements by the end which made his disappearance all the worse. I can't even name anyone else with so many unfinished fan comics, except maybe Prophet.

Really? Is he still doing work? I thought the whole Milftoon thing fell apart. You can still find his work around on paheal and actual comic places like sadpanda and a few others. It even ends up on doujin places which is kind of funny. Kamehasutra usually ends up near or at the top of Dragonball comic in those sites.

I don't know, his comics got repetitive and boring so I just stopped reading them. But his stuff still gets posted on panda and marked as forbidden every time, so I'm just assuming he is still around.

I regret that "How I Killed Your Master" fell into permanent hiatus. I really liked that one, and it was filling in the hole left behind by Jade Empire and Way of the Rat.

It doesn't matter but here is my take on that question.
In about 2 generations, most people are forgotten, just another branch on the tree. When was the last time you visited your great grandparents grave? For every Alfred Nobel or Teddy Roosevelt there are a million other almost nameless people who just exist for a moment in time and then return to the dust from which they came. No matter what, my destiny involves my death. I stopped worrying about the inevitable outcome, and try, just a little bit, to make the brief time I have in this world memorable to me. Whether that leaves a legacy is up to chance. I'll just do my best with what I have before it's gone. So I practice every day drawing the best naked women I can because I like it and think it's fun.

Its kinda wild to me that out of all the pre-2010 /co/ drawfags, the one to really make it and stick around seems to be Swain/Sir(he was the original Sir, he had to give it up when the fit guy came around).
