Why don't they make lost episode creepypastas anymore? Those used to be very scary back in the day.
part of the charm was the believability but no one's gonna believe a studio spent thousands of dollars handcrafting a scary episode no one's going to see. also considering everything nowadays is reported and archived on social media and not on some niche forum
>>149296755 (OP)ARGs and Nickelodeon Hijacks took their place
the audience aged out, i don't know where 15 year olds and under spend their time on the internet now but it doesn't seem to be in contact with the rest of us
>>149296755 (OP)Because it was always a retarded trend that gradually got forgotten as the tweens that came up with it grew up. Also in the digital age where everything is uploaded new lost media isn't much of a thing.
>my three college friends and I stayed over at my building for a night
>we were eating chips, drinking soda, and watching Adult Swim
>it was this night that they were airing a Aqua Teen Hunger Force marathon
>the newest episode, which no one seemed to know about or was on the network schedule, starting airing for the first time
>one of my friends screamed bloody murder when he saw an image of Frylock with a hyper realistic black man face
>he looked like Samuel L. Jackson if he were french fries
>he hopped off the couch and through the front door
>the episode continued on, showing master shake and meatwad engaging in the cruel, morbid killing of Carl
>they dressed themself as ISSIS terrorists while Carl was wearing an orange vest
>it was very scary
>my second friend lit a blunt as Carl was realistically beheaded on the screen
>my eyes were glazed with horror
>the friend that ran out the door never came back
>legend says he's still running
>anyway, Carl dies when his hits the grass below
>meatwad takes out a radio and begins dancing to the ISIS theme song, likely the meme rip he got off of Youtube
>everything felt off because weed smoke began to fill the lobby
>fucker lit weed
>i began to feel doozy
>the rest of the episode was crazy as shit as soon as Frylock, now Samuel L Jackson in a fry costume, appeared with a million shotguns taped together
>he turned shake and meatwad into swiss cheese within a matter of seconds
>then he shot the hand banana to death, exploding him into pieces
>i kept eating the chips, only to be soon handcuffed by campus police
>no one ever talked about the episode again
>the friend that ran was again
>the other friend who smoked weed transferred to another school
>my other friend is still with me but he was basically a potato in a wheelchair this whole time and communicates using his shitty apple laptop
>he had sex before me
>>149296755 (OP)>Why don't they make lost episode creepypastas anymore?Because they are more busy hunting down ACTUAL lost episodes and lost media like their lives depended on it
>>149296755 (OP)The zoomers that grew up with creepypastas just moved on to new horror trends.
>>149296755 (OP)Because when something like that gets popular it spawns lots of terrible imitators who have no idea how to do it right and actually make it sound creepy (and at least ever-so-slightly believable) and soon you end up with a ton of shit like
>>149297905 and no-one is interested any more.
>>149296755 (OP)Everything is too well documented and cybersecurity is too good. Back in the 00s the internet had much less information available and television had been hijacked before in recent years. Nowadays everything is too well documented for lost episode creepypastas to be believable or have any merit.
>>149297435"Underage" doesn't mean anything anymore now that current 18 year olds were born in 2007.
>>149296755 (OP)>Those used to be very scary back in the day.were they? were they really?
>>149297396That’s the funny thing
They don’t go on the actual internet, they don’t use computers. They only use apps, they are all on TikTok or other apps and are fully contained on them, not the internet
If you see them it’s only on social media where they can post using their phone and you have access to desktop versions

>>149296755 (OP)>lost episode creepypastas were so scaryYeah when you’re like twelve they are, the only good ones were Candle Cove and 1999, and those ones succeeded cause they weren’t based on real shows. Only children and autistic Deviantart users find Squidward with hyper realistic eyes scary.
Mascot horror shit like Poppy Playtime and Banban is gen alpha’s equivalent to lost episode creepypastas, fucked up versions of kids characters made to be found scary by children.
>>149296755 (OP)I don't know, but Dave the Useless is creepy kino. That YouTube channel has some original creepypasta lost episode stories and some moments are either scary or outright hilarious.
>>149296755 (OP)They were never scary even back then. You were just 11.
>>149298116My Aqua Teen Hunger Force creepypasta is a very serious attempt at writing a scary story. Be scared. Ooooooo. Spooky.
