There's a lot that's confusing with it. For one thing Spider-Gwen's universe is a bit behind the mainline continuity, so Spider-Gwen is about 5 years younger than the real Gwen Stacy.
Most importantly, will this have any effect on Peter Parker? Spider-Gwen never acted like Gwen Stacy and has expressed no interest in pursuing a relationship with Peter. Neither has he. Spider-Gwen is nothing like Gwen Stacy, making her one of the most contrived characters in Marvel.

Assuming that still continues after the books cancellation then sure, they get a coffee every week. Their friendship is still flimsy at best, exists squarely in one (cancelled) book, and is entirely told rather than shown.
On the other hand, Johnny is legitimately Peter's best friend. They have established traditions, and go to each other for personal advice and help. And this has been established over years of storylines both in Spider-Man books, Team-Up books, and Fantastic Four books.
Nothing about Peter and Miles feels natural. Miles is just some stranger that showed up and took Peter's super hero identity, and that's basically the extent of their relationship. No alleged friendship between them has been earned

The Gwenpool pride webcomic is genuinely hilarious (that it exists, not to read - sorry if I got your hopes up) from an outside perspective.

Not only is it boring, not only is it unprofessionally written with deliberate disregard for the character in both a meta and in-story standpoint, not only is it a writer messing with stuff way above her work's pay grade for self-gratification, not only is it the last work under Marvel the writer is credited for... it is also bi erasure and effectively canon conversion therapy by Gwenpool's own writer lmao.

First off, Ultimate is a place where they play with stuff they DON'T want to put in mainline.

Second... 616 Miles exists and is literally a villain. The Spider-Man Miles in 616 IS the one from Ultimate. 1610. As in, he became 1610 Spider-Man AFTER 1610 Peter died. He's not traveling the multiverse inadvertently usurping one Peter Parker after the next.

Third, Marvel has been (very slowly) moving more in the direction of where DC has been for a while where multiple characters with the same alias don't necessarily work on Highlander rules, and sidekicks/proteges aren't entirely disallowed from existing.

Miles doesn't make Peter more in danger - as a matter of fact in the mainline continuity Miles being around arguably makes 616 Peter SAFER, because they wouldn't want to undermine his relationship with Miles. I hate synergy as much as the next guy but Spiderverse synergy and Miles being around actually puts a bit of a ceiling on how much they can screw with 616 Peter.
