Not really. Fantasia 2000's is very highbrow while gumball itself is incredible pop culture and lowbrow by nature.

Gumball is closer to heavymetal really, but less pretentious in some parts and way more in others. Gumball only falls short when it tries too hard, but being aware as it is of certain things at the time it did is pretty commendable and ahead of it's own time, not fionna and cake ahead of it's time, but not totally cringe either. they just run with it too long and stopped being special.
