With how often Magik died, gap year, and then resurrected in a completely new body, her age was probably staled for a while or deaged a bit during the various resurrections.

I wondered if Iron Fist and Magik could even get along and be friends but then I realized comic Lin Lie doesn't really have any character to speak of so I guess it's fine since he's a blank slate

Judging by their behaviour, they would be similar to Ekko & Jinx. Both are skilled fighters, both have a connection to the mystic arts, & both are quite stubborn, but the only difference is that Lin Lie is more disciplined & focused as a skilled fighter while Magik will be a nightmare that will annoy & tease you until you get worn down. So the Jinx & Ekko relationship would be something they'd be based on in terms of their character
