This all feels fluffy and not in a good way. You have to strike a balance between Silver Age shenanigans and actual stakes. I feel like the the comic is constantly winking at me, telling me I and the author are better than the silliness unfolding in the book's pages.

I'm not saying i think this is AI, i think it's more bad/rushed art. But what i am saying is that it shares all of the hallmarks of it being AI generated.

That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if they had an AI generate the basic frame/storyboard of the scene and then they drew over it. When they first brought up AI art, i suspected this is where comics would go. Same way animation went in the early 2000's. "Computers can do it quicker and cheaper." It's the main reason why nothing big budget is traditionally animated anymore.

I'm not sure about the specifics but leaving the city actively kills them. The only time I've seen someone leave and survive was Preus from Superman Godfall and that was because his armor protected him but it poisoned him and made him go insane.

Honestly, the next time there's a reset, they need to heavily prune the Kryptonian population. Even having Supergirl and the Zod crew undermines the gravitas of Kal-El being the "last survivor of Krypton." Bottled cities is one of those things that works in some one off stories, but then become a piece of lore baggage most of the time.
