I tried to post this to different subreddits like the Disney, DisneyChannel, Cartoons, ADJL, etc communities but they keep downvoting my goddamn posts (wtf!!!) so I’m gonna gauge my thoughts here where we can have a proper non-biased discussion:
The writers of American Dragon: Jake Long are weird as hell.
I've never watched the show, it was before my time.
But I came across the show and looked into it. It looks like a good show, I'm aware that it was really popular and was memorable, but holy hell it's writers need to get checked I think.
In the episode "Family Business", Jake thinks he's in a dream but he's really not, in his underwear in front of his sister and teacher (who does nothing to help him?), when a fairy or something takes a picture of him in his underwear and puts it on a magical newspaper. What the fuck?
And in "Shapehifter", a teen pop star ends up in his underwear and a whole bunch of people who are clearly adults take photos of him.
I can NOT be the only one who thinks this shit is creepy as hell.
