Went to a katana shop yesterday. They had some good options, no green ito with black same. Walked out with a bokken to at least practice before I put a few extra slices in the wall

I was able to snag the dark horse collections when it was on Humble Bundle for cheap and have been having a great time reading it.
Gonna be real Chizu sort of pisses me off a bit even after she got ran out of her damn clan.

She's a meddler, tries to say how ninjas should be allowed more in life but she pointlessly wasted so many of their lives in the grass cutter storyline for the sole sake of her own conscience when Usagis plan was proven to have worked.
I see what is trying to be done with her but it's just a shitty execution and turns out to be a wishy washy character for someone that's supposed to be firm in convictions.

Not sure how far you've gotten in the series, but I think she becomes a better character after she goes on the run from her clan. She's my favorite female character of the series, and part of it is because of her early indecisiveness. She tries to do the right thing morally, but she also tries to save face with her clan by doing something else, and the balance ends up failing with nothing to show for it except her comrades dead and empty hands.

I'm halfway through that at the moment. And so far it's just satisfying to see her own ninjas turn on her after all the shit she pulled. You're right though maybe they can pull her ass out of the fire for me who knows.

Well you have to keep in mind, Stan's tight grip on the IP has kept him out of the spotlight beyond his appearance in TMNT related media. The Usagi show was a spinoff with new characters so it's not like you can transition to the comic easily from that.
