Kind of a weird choice to follow the first Ice Age movie with something like this.

I loved this movie as a kid. it had a strong moral message about following your dreams, not letting soulless corporate entities put profit over creativity, and not giving into conformity.
That being said, I dont think its possible for a big studios to make a movie like this today because it feels like they are all owned and run by people like Ratchet

Weird how? I think it's generic as hell compared to first Ice Age for sure

Robots is a great movie and I'm tired of retards pretending otherwise.
Antz is a great movie and I'm tired of retards pretending otherwise.
Cars 2 is a great movie and I'm tired of retards pretending otherwise.

I liked Cars 2 more than the first one, maybe because it's not about racing and it's just a relatively straightforward comedy spy movie.

>Manny grows to care about the baby despite his grudge against humans
>Diego betrays his pack of smilodons after bonding with Manny, Sid and the baby

Ice Age tells a very simple storyline, but it has some compelling character development at least. Robots has none.

So isn't there any sort of law system or government in that world? These two were commiting mass murder with their Sweepers and their foundry, yet it seems like they would've easily gotten away with it if it wasn't for Rodney's intervention.

I'd take that rather than the 100th sequel, cash grab their bigger franchise has become.

The lack of human characters and anything remotely organic looking made this movie age better than probably anything else from this era. It holds up shockingly well.

Is this implying Robots is Blue Sky's second biggest franchise?
