There is no plausible way to get that accomplished in modern day America. That can be a stated goal but achieving that isn’t something you could plausibly get passed in congress and senate. So what you’re left with is raising the minimum wage and tying it to an index that automatically increases every year to compensate for inflation. That is far more likely to have a chance to pass then completely getting rid of it. Especially when unionisation is at the levels it currently is.

"Everything's political" is true to an extent but you can't be "autistic" about it. Preaching politics all the time is annoying. Can everything be read through a political lens and do politics effect us in most things? Sure to some extent. Again, you are dumb. People in the past knew how to tell a story that had politics within, but wasn't the main focusing drive. You could enjoy the show without feeling preached to and then when you set back and thought about it maybe it would make you think about some issues. But now it's the whole thing. It's front and center. No one cares about the art of storytelling; they just want to rant and rave about politics. Most of these people should just be streamers or podcasters because they don't care about the art of storytelling; they only care about politics.

And it's not just writers there's a subset of the general public that has political brain rot and can never turn politics off and just enjoy things. They have to bring politics to the table nonstop.
