Fights that could have been way better if another version of the character was used instead

If Gwen fought Cassandra as batgirl instead of Barbara, not only the fight would have likely have been way better... but despite likely still losing, Cain would have traumatized and taken at least one of Gwen´s arms before going down.

Also, Hal is more of a willpower go get it character than Kyle was. So, i would have prefered Simon vs Hal too.

Instead of Mario vs Sonic 2, i would have prefered they did Paper Mario vs Archie Sonic instead too.

Does anyone have any comments about that one really strange scene in DBZ where Oolong becomes an evil tapeworm who crawls into Bulma's butt and constantly agitates her bowels? I know Toriyama was into scat, bless his soul, but that seems a little extreme even by his standards
I really don't know why Toriyama did that or thought it was funny. Kinda felt creepy like body horror, because Oolong became like super fucking long and no matter how hard Bulma sharted him out he kept crawling back in. This happened nonstop in every Bulma scene in the Namek saga. The show would even randomly cut to Bulma sharting and then cut right back to the action with no music or dialog or anything.
But the really strange part was when Goku sucked Oolong up his butt and asked him to do the same to him. And Oolong was so angry he made Goku shart an entire mountain? He even used it to sneak attack Frieza by drowning him in a shart puddle but Frieza slurped it up and punched Goku in the gut so hard that he could never shart again and that's when Goku started getting very spooky and sexually violent against Frieza
This was never commented on by anyone after Frieza and I can't even find any discussion of this on Usenet

He has a very strong set of solo comics as a whole. The most beloved run is Walt Simonson's from Thor 337 to 382, which introduced Beta Ray Bill and elevated the world-building and fantasy epic elements. Lee/Kirby's original run also gets surprisingly good when Tales of Asgard is introduced and Kirby introduces many cosmic elements. Jurgens Thor from the late 90s similarly goes for a mythic epic tone which it lands pretty well. For a more modern run, JMS Thor from 2007 takes the character to a more down to earth route, and Aaron's original run from 2013 is very highly regarded, that's the one with Gorr.

Okay. I need a secondary opinion. Viltrum and Viltrumites have a lot more fleshing out in Invincible than Saiyans do in Dragon Ball, so why does the worldbuilding for Viltrumites feel hollow by comparison?
My theory is that Viltrumites feel too important and strong to fit into the setting the way it does.
Their cultural decisiveness should mean that for as strong as they are that the COP shouldn't be able to exist.
Their multigalactic empire should have had innoculation against a viral outbreak because spreading between planets let alone solar systems or beyond feels totally infeasible for what we see of the Scourge Virus.
If Nolan was part of a campaign to find biologically compatible planets to repopulate the species, then why is there only Nolan?
I recognize that a lot of it can be handwaved, but it still feels inadequate for the amount of focus that they recieve.

Maxwell is Massively FTL+, but that only applies to his travel speed, he can't write that fast. So theoretically, someone fast enough could swipe his notebook. His perception speed would also be Massively FTL+, but you try running, thinking, and writing all at once. Plus, in the games, you can’t move and write at the same time anyway.

I'll be honest, even if Almighty has never been resisted I would still say that at the end of the day the elemental resistances in Persona aren't analogous/equivalent to GER and how it protects from attacks.
It's just that the fact it can be resisted is stronger evidence to show it ultimately is just another element for the game mechanics side of things.
