I appreciate the fact that while Candace is run through the ringer and never wins, it is almost entirely self inflicted. The show never tries to make her look evil or torture her. It would've been really easy for the show to have P&F intentionally mess with her or be antagonistic like other cartoons would. But they just appreciate her and constantly try to help her. Even if she stopped them they wouldn't hold it against her.
She has a really nice relationship with her family, and even when her Mom thinks she's odd for the crazy stories, she's still loved and included in family events. You know she can't win but you still kinda hope she does, and her small personal victories are really enjoyable.

At a guess, the fact she's played by Alyson Stoner is probably the biggest stumbling block for the character. After a certain number of seasons, voice actors with more than one credited character are entitled to more money.

If Jenny hadn't been named, they probably could have just kept her around as an Additional Voices credit but dropping her lines to that status after multiple seasons would almost certainly cause problems.

If we do get to see the MML characters, I hope they never bring up the whole luck angle for Phineas and Ferb again. The boys being naturally lucky really undermines a big point of the show which is that Candace's inability to just let go and have fun is her biggest obstacle.

Every therapist in that conference, presumably most of them from the Tri-state are, have never seen any of the inventions or events and think Candace and him are just crazy. By extension most average people have seen and participated in events, and children in the area are involved in most of the inventions and know Phineas and Ferb are involved.
So do those therapists just go home and talk to their families thinking everyone in town is experiencing mass hallucinations?
