>>149358495 (OP)It's the weakest Absolute title IMO. It's not awful, it's got some good moments here and there, but overall it just feels like it's trying too hard to be cool and not doing enough to develop its characters. The story is tries to tell is a classic (evil corporations are stealing your freedoms and killing the planet) but it's told with zero flair or imagination, literally just psychotic villains behind everything that happens.
It also makes the same mistake as Absolute Batman: Wanting to create a version of the character that has a more humble lineage, while at the same time not making any effort to make that mean anything. Bruce Wayne is the son of a teacher instead of an industrial millionaire, but he somehow still has unlimited funds to build multiple Batmobiles and have dozens, even implied to be hundreds, of secret bases all over Gotham. Kal-El is the son of outcast farmers instead of wealthy scientists, but they were still super-geniuses who built a one of a kind spaceship and in terms of technology even gave him MORE than in the original version (his sapient nano-supersuit).
