nu-Wonder Woman should take inspiration from The Circle storyline
>rogue Amazons initiate a coup, hate Diana's very nature and Themyscira becoming part of the international community, or 'man's world'
>have a plan to fuck up some fictional Aegean island country there is a summit with - not a big enough fish to bring the ire of the international community down on them but enough of a message they are not to be fucked with and want to be left alone
>but mainly keep the action on the island, Diana going from shit like rock bottom after the coup and used as a slave gladiator briefly with Alkyone trying to break and humiliate her to leading the counter-coup, etc.
That's my first instincts for nu-WW movie plot that doesn't involve the Gods in some huge story, isn't entirely in Man's World but not removed from it entirely and also not entirely set in the realm of the Greeks Gods, etc.
