That's just silly they both operate in completely separate cities. Plus why dress up like a Bat at night if you could simply be up, up, and away at Gotham? No, I think the truth is that Batman and Superman...are Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, respectively.
What leads me to that conclusion? Bruce Wayne is a billionaire, heir of Wayne Enterprises. A company well known for manufacturing tech, shipbuilding, etc. The Waynes have put so much money into Gotham, even developing Gotham's Railway. So what is Bat best known for? All of his gadgets and vehicles of course. Dudes a one man army with all of his arsenal from his Batmobile to his Batwing. That's not even mentioning his many sidekicks throughout the years, but I digress.
As for Clark Kent while it might be downright ridiculous. Just think about it for a second. Why has a reporter such as him never been seen with the Man of Steel? Out of all of the staff at the Daily Planet not once has Kent made a public interview with Superman. Plus have you seen this mans build? While he might come off as a lousy slouch. He's over 6ft tall, don't let his hunchback and baggy clothes fool you.
But you want to know something else that's really interesting? I have a photo of Kent smooching Wayne on his forehead. The implications of this affair could be very wide if you take into consideration their dual identites.
