I guarantee you if all tv animation stopped and only hobbyist animation on shoestring budgets remained, most anons here would throw a fit due to the amateurish quality. Trust me when I say that you won't be getting anything resembling what you're used to seeing

Not to mention how long it would take for one episode to come up.

It is the nature of this site to bitch about everything and everything should be for free. Yet they wanted it to be handed to them so they can bitch about it.

Given the state of American animation, I would very much like it to die out as an artform here. It's already creatively dead, so just allow all knowledge and skill to completely disappear so we can hard reboot by copying another culture that isn't yet ossified into ugliness and banality.

Portrait painters are still a thing, not as frequent but there are out there for commission. Also photographers have been mostly replaced by amateur or people just using their own cheap equipment.

Architect are still a thing, you are mixing up medium with actual people doing the work. They traded paper and pencil with CAD.

Periodical cartoonist went the same way as the newsreporter, digital and few in between.

Illustratinist is the same as with portrait painters. Few out there, but if someone has been hurt from AI it is them.

Unfortunately you can make the same argument of:
>Animation is a career, I deserve to be paid a lot for all the work I put in
So, how do you expect people to afford it or studios to bother? Everyone's habits developed around things being cheap and people not getting paid well for it.
