That only proves to you that you are real *at that exact moment in time*. Also, and this is very important, Twice doesn't split himself. He makes copies. There is no re-absroption that happens with him, and he can even make copies of people that are not himself, its just that making copies of himself is easiest for him and he has the most control over it.
Every single time he uses his power, the duplicate of himself that he made has all of the memories of being the original up to the moment they split. That means that if you stab yourself in the arm to prove you are real today, and then duplicate yourself tomorrow, the duplicate you make tomorrow *also remembers proving he was real yesterday*.
Every fake Twice remembers being real, and the real Twice has seen uncountable fake-Twices that were convinced that they were real just like he does. If they can be wrong about that, that means so he can he.
The fake Twice also tend to *need* to believe that they are real, even if that requires them to ignore reality and look past obvious evidence to the contrary, because the alternative is to *know and accept* that you are a temporary clone that is doomed to die in the near future, and thats an existential sort of horror that they can't deal with. Thats not fair. They should be the real one. And so on.
