I hate to disappoint you sister, but your chat bot lied to you
No one in authority said this.
Maybe some idiot yelled it on YT and you took it as the truth.
Maybe some AI chick was put into some skimpy outfit and danced to some music on a 60 second tiktok and said that while trying to sell you some deodorant that will, FINALLY, get you at least a handsy, but that tiktok is a tiktok of lies, sister.
You're better off saving your pennies from your wage slave existence and getting some hooker to give you that handsy

Because people are already attached to Battinson and don't want a second Batman just for the DCU.
These people of course don't care about the settings not fitting or anything, they just want to see the Batman they like with the Superman they like.

>the settings not fitting
This has never been a legitimate concern for a superhero universe.
The major tonal clash between different segments of the universe has always been half of the fun of superhero comics, at least when we're talking about DC. This is a world where Grant Morrison's Animal Man and Constantine can coexist with the Challengers of the Unknown and other over-the-top sci-fi shenanigans.
Secondaries who aren't familiar with the comics and only care about the standards of a typical film series worry about this sort of thing.
Besides, different parts of the real world have wildly different tones too. Having such contrast actually makes a fictional universe more vibrant and real.

It is and WB knows. Batman is in a league of his own with normies and casuals as the "realist" or "dark" superhero. Never mind it's bullshit but an alien in Gotham would break their suspention of disbelief, however. Some people who don't normally go for superhero flicks will go for Batman and it's not an accident if the latest Batman tried so hard with it's noir aesthetic when its story is disney-tier but with hookers and pimps.

It's not about the tone moron, it's about the setting.
You can have a gritty character and a hopeful character meet, that's fine, but these characters are from two completely different settings.
The Batman is grounded, there are no superpowered people, no monsters, no aliens, no magic, no nothing, just people.
The DCU is the complete opposite of that, from Dr. Phosphorus, to Superman, to Circe, to Metamorpho, none of those characters could exist in The Batman universe.

Literally everything you mentioned fit together just fine because they're all fantastical stories in a fantastical world, The Batman doesn't take place in a fantastical world, it's grounded, it's realistic, it has no place for aliens or mutants like Superman.
People with superpowers straight up don't exist in The Batman, that's how different these worlds are.

Yes, but aliens and monsters don't necessarily exist in a world with basic street crime and terrorism, that's how The Batman universe, grounded and realistic, they're not interested in fitting with the wider fantastical DCU.

No it's probably separate. Pattinson's Batman is far too grounded to work in this context, even moreso than Bale's. Batman can only function as a member of the Justice League if he's more ridiculous.

Apples to Oranges, The Batman is specifically a movie that isn't supposed to exist in a universe with monsters and magic, or even any actually fantastical villains like Mr. Freeze.
There's a reason the Clayface movie isn't gonna be part of The Batman universe, they have no place for mutant clay monsters.

None of this stuff exists in a world, until it does.
Batman wasn't conceived as taking place in a world with superpowers and monsters. But like 2 issues in he's encountering vampires, then he's crossed over with other DC heroes.
When you watch an alien invasion or vampire or whatever movie, do you think grounded crime just never existed in that world before?

No, he showed them the truth. DC tried to not do that with Battfleck and that turned out as the worst iteration of Batman in the last 50 years.

>AHHH TONAL DIFFERENCE
you all sound like a bunch of faggots. Yeah, The Batman and Superman 2025 are very different films and that is A GOOD THING. You all have been brainwashed by Disney/Marvel into thinking literally ever movie in a shared universe has to be exactly the same. I think it could be intresting to see how a "grounded" Batman would approach the more fantastic elements introduced Gunn's Superman.
Besides, it doesn't make any sense to set up an entirely new Batman for this universe.

>None of this stuff exists in a world, until it does.
By that logic, you could just add aliens to Breaking Bad.
Could it be done? Yes. But it also wouldn't fit the universe they've made there.
>Batman wasn't conceived as taking place in a world with superpowers and monsters. But like 2 issues in he's encountering vampires, then he's crossed over with other DC heroes.
Yes, but The Batman universe was specifically made to be self-contained to only grounded and realistic Batman characters and stories, they're not gonna crossover with something that doesn't fit the universe they've made just because.
>When you watch an alien invasion or vampire or whatever movie, do you think grounded crime just never existed in that world before?
That's really not the comparison you think it is, since those are specifically made for aliens or vampires to show up, again, The Batman isn't like that, they don't have anything like that in the universe, and don't intend to.

Again, it's not about the tone, it's about the setting, the different rules for the different universes they've made.
The Batman world doesn't have anything fantastical, that's just how that world works, it's completely antithetical to the whole DCU.
>Besides, it doesn't make any sense to set up an entirely new Batman for this universe.
It's literally the only thing that makes sense lmao, they can't make The Batman fit into the DCU, so they're just gonna make a new Batman that fits, it's fine.
Why do you think that Clayface movie isn't gonna be part of the Batman universe? Because mutant clay monsters don't fit there, that's more of a DCU thing.
>creature commandos not canon

That's just how Batman already is, a normal man that interacts with a weird fantastical world, you don't need to use Battinson for that, let him stay in his grounded world where superpowers don't exist.
