>>149381828 (OP)Best episodes are anything with Slappy, plus the Rita & Runt segments. Also I just kinda lump TTA and Animaniacs together into one collective "memory" since both were basically the same show.
I dunno, most of the OG was good, even if some of the references go right over my 35-year old head, they still remembered to make JOKES.
That said, some of the segments weren't that great.
The reboots are and will always be ignored and forgotten, genuinely shit cartoons, both from a reboot perspective and from a standalone perspective.
Then again, from the exec's/media's perspective, I imagine both reboots probably got slapped into some kind of protected category since WB owns a lot of the news media that would've covered the shows flopping and companies hate self-reporting failure as much as they can.
>shills on social media keep saying the new shows are S-tier and amazing, and anyone who dislikes them is just -ist or -ism or whatever>shows come out to mostly radio silence>no cultural impact other than rage at this or that, or confusion over the twins thing>people try to criticize the shows, but get eaten alive for it with the usual "huhuhuh try saying something bad, you'll just get blacklisted from the industry" shit>both shows die without much fanfare, nobody misses them>if anyone tries to bring up either show in any kind of negative light, one of the lead guys from said reboot will swoop out of the shadows to say something like "ugh, let it rest already, don't you guys have something better to do?"I still just can't believe how bad both shows ended up being, how can you fuck up two shows about nothing so badly? Just make shit that sounds fun, barely interconnect anything, just let the writers and animators dick around for fun and do whatever sounds interesting.
