>>149382735Not surprisingly, like most 'basement video game chair analyst' here, you are more wrong than not. Physical media still sells well for genre shit, like SF, fantasy and yes, cape shit, and even to some normies, especially now that they are realizing that shit they may want to watch over and over is not going to stay perpetually on, even with Netflix "originals" or "made" for for Hulu/Disney+ "originals." While you are right, that they don't make the money in sales that they used to to cable channels, selling to Prime, Netflix, even to fucking Ruko and Tubi still nets money. Which is why and how The Batman has ended up on all of those and for sale on Apple iTunes, Google, etc.
And you are again wrong at 'hate rejected' - I won't even argue how since others have already in this thread and other threads this weekend, even if they didn't reply specifically to your stupidity.
>>149382859>loot the shareholdersY'all really need to stop talking about shit you know nothing about it. Shareholders loose out when they don't make as much money as they should in dividends and when their stock is depressed. Superman (and by extension DC Studios) doing well and this being recognized publicly should help shore up the stock price, and move it from it's depressed current value. The fact that WB is generally doing better this year, with Minecraft and even by distributing F1 for Apple, and in smaller ways with Sinners, etc., all bode well for the stockholder's stock price. People like Zaslav LOOT the actual company, by taking a $200 bonus payment from WB just for the DISCO joint venture agreement being signed and for getting a bonus for 2024 when it was disastrous for the cable channels and otherwise for the company, Barbie and a few other things notwithstanding. That's partially why his pay was voted down. But that's not, per se, looting the stockholders, especially since it had no impact on dividends and his bonus didn't specifically impact the stock price.
