Because the new movie just plays that animated series intro song on a fucking loop got most of it. I got so fed up 10 minutes in. It's a good song, but it only works during a short intro or at the climax of the film. Not, well, not every fucking minute.

loved the new film but no, this is just about the greatest scene in Snyder's career so despite everything else being mediocre this stands up well against the new film, also helped by the fact that the new Superman doesnt really have an origin story sequence so theres nothing like the sheer joy of watching him fly for the first time

tasteless again, if theres one thing Snyderjeets and Gunntards and people in general agree it's that Zimmer's score on MOS is fantastic and that the rest of the movie does it a disservice by failing to live up to it

Not really, no. It doesn't really have moments like this. Still it's good and I liked how Superman flew in a lot of the scenes. Felt mobile and fast when he needed to be.

I was worried the shaky cam would be overused but it only appears like once or twice. the flying and fight CGI is pretty great too, the hits don't have the oomph that Snyder's Superman does but I'll take that over the multiple other improvements we've seen
