Only thing I thought Amphibia's ending have over TOH's was that it was first. Luz's sacrifice had more impact and no marvel quips. Eda going apeshit was awesome. They actually kill their villain rather than let him go. And the timeskip didn't suddenly have characters that "drifted apart" or such nonsense after they spent several seasons redeveloping their friendship.

Anne's timeskip design was better than Luz's though, I'll give that.
