She needs a goal. So far shes been rather aimless, a stereotypical background teenager. What she needs is something to want, be it to try and get her parents back together(for whatever reason) or to get away from the both of them. If she has that, then she has motivation. If she has motivation, she has a story.

Right now, Octavia is just an accessory to her dad's character arc. Just like her mom. So, ideally, you'd hit two birds with one story arc by exploring Octavia's relationship with her mom. Have Octavia naturally come to her own decisions about who she wants to be through exploring her past and current relationship with Stella.

Ideally, become the princess she's meant to be. Octavia demonstrated near cluelessness on how to operate the Grimoire, using it worse than an actual Hellhound or imps. She should learn how to do her Dad's job, avoid her uncle's attempts to assassinate her, and by the end come out of the situation whole and ready for the cutthroat life of a Hell noble.

This sounds bad until you remember that Stolas resents the terms of being a Goetia and just really just wants his imp sausage over his responsibilities and his familial relationship with his daughter.

I could see Octavia being more of a rebellious but impressionable punk, have Loona hang out with her if only to keep a leash on her and keep her from getting into too much trouble. Still, Fang's arc is learning not to depend on external validation while Octavia is kinda flat character-wise. She needs to be fleshed out beyond her relationship to her parents.

Make her actually react to her mother being a sadistic psycho. All flashbacks and present scenes showed that Stella didn't really do much raising her and was open about abusing her husband, you can't just have them hug once and suddenly she sides with her psychobitch mom over her gay slut of a dad that actually did raise her despite his flaws.
Her either running away or going no contact with her entire family would work better. Fuck, have her run to Paimon, her parents both failed her so she seeks stability in the previous more generation of her grandfather in an attempt to find something better even if it doesn't work out. Bonus it would give us an opportunity to see his take on all this bullshit.
