I rewatched Ben 10 (the original series) after a long time and I liked it. It has good animation, stories, and characters.

Now I'm watching Alien Force (I've only seen 5 episodes). I think it's crap (I've never seen it completely, just parts).
The characters are all flat, the dynamics between them are garbage.
The animation is ugly, Gwen's magic is horrible to watch, and the characters are very inexpressive.

On top of that, Gwen is in love with Kevin, who's a criminal. Are women even whores in cartoons?

I wasn't planning on watching it. I was planning on watching Ben 10: Alien Force and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien.
I've never seen an episode of Omniverse. I just looked up the designs and they look horrible to me.
Is it as good as the original Ben 10? If it's not as good, or better, it's not worth watching in my opinion.

I liked Alien Force for the fact that Ben was more confident and competent, showing that he was maturing and getting better at being a hero with age. Then they made him such a fucking dumbass prick in Ultimate Alien on for no god damn reason.

OP I get what your talking about alien force came out when I was 11 or so and I liked the original better too bec5of the aliens and the art style but I kept coming back to alien force and I think that you'll like it once it starts being a bit more confident,I think it does have one of the best arcs in ben 10,it's last season is kinda weak cos the network wasn't happy it wasn't og Ben 10 so they had to write ben more childish,ultimate alien was all over the place but still pretty fun,
And omniverse is pretty great actually

It's not a bad series but it's pretty bland in comparison to the original. Kid Ben is a little shit, his omnitrix doesn't work half the time, and he spams the same two aliens because he likes them the most. Teen Ben is no longer a shit, he can call up any alien he wants, and they're all so overpowered compared to the original 10 that any of them can handle almost any situation. Also a lot of the series takes place at night and in the same few areas which is disappointing compared to the how the original series had them going all over America.

Well jokes aside, I don't like it but you might enjoy it. I will say it's different from OG and AF/UA. It goes for a less serious tone than even the OG. So if you don't like AF, this might be a good change of pace. Nothing can beat the OG, so don't expect any of the sequels to surpass it.

I only watched like half of Omniverse in order and a couple of random episodes, overall I'd say if you value internal coherence and logic more than comedy you probably won't like it, but Omniverse is a weird show that has such a strange balance of good and bad decisions that there's a chance you'll end up liking it.

It's not. In fact it only gets worse and lazier as the plot goes on.
It even goes to the ends of solving the writer's block off screen, and then purposely having the characters be like
"Oh wow. How did you fix it?"
"Do you wanna know, or do you wanna get out of here?"
And then the episode ends. It has the absolute worst writing for a show that tries to be serious.

It didn't improve upon anything. It was lazy and unimaginative compared to the original, Ben's aliens didn't feel like aliens anymore, Kevin was just completely ruined and turned into dime store Absorbing Man. Don't get me started on Vilgax. A lot of people like its power scaling I guess
