Gunn said in an interview that Kara is going on intergalactic red sun benders because she hasn’t yet come to terms with losing Krypton. Unlike Clark, she had experiences on their Homeworld and lost her entire family. So hopefully her arc is confronting those feelings and accepting that The Kents are her family.

Maybe that’s also the contrast and point of having Lobo in her solo film too. Maybe she realizes that she’ll eventually turn into him if she continues down that path

Joe-El’s plan didn’t speak for all of Krypton. In fact the council didn’t listen to him regarding the impending doom. Kara’s pod was unrelated to Clark’s anyway, and arrived late. Joe was a science and was unaware Kara even got out. His plan solely relied on Clark. Kara wouldn’t even know, especially with the message damaged.

Yeh I liked her, though I'm worried about her movie. I'm honestly surprised by how many reviewers got filtered by the plot, saying too much was going on and the world wasn't properly explained. The movie wasn't perfect but it was pretty damn entertaining and had a good heart.

In other words they didn't like that we got a comic book movie that didn't hold non-comic fans hands lmao.

The movie gave you all you needed to know while still keeping it a Superman movie.
I.E, yes Guy Gardner was in it, but we didn't have to have a 20 minute back story on who he is or what a GL is, that can be saved for the Lanterns series.
