there is something interesting about how every major marvel office keeps their toys for themselves, not only x-office.
Like when Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver will be forever part of Avengers, or D'Spayre being forever tied to Dr Strange.

Binary is a curious example of that. As the original Binary was a remade Ms Marvel, who was Captain Marvel rule 63. But despite that, because Binary as an aspect of Carol was introduced in X-Men, it keeps being contained (with few exceptions) in x-books

I'm not really sure much of that is accurate.
D'Spayre is a Dr Strange villain who's guest starred in other books, but he's not a particularly popular villain so doesn't show up that often.
The Avengers office used to let the X-Men books borrow Quicksilver when they weren't using him. Bob Harras and Peter David were the only people working in the X-office who cared about him, and now he's not a mutant there's no call for it anymore.
Outside of the time when Wanda was written out of comics entirely because of Bendis, there's not really been any significant period of time where she wasn't an Avenger, or part of an Avengers spinoff like Force Works, so there was no opportunity for any other book to try and use her.

As for Binary, most of the Binary appearances in the last 25 years have been in Carol's own solo material, and occasional Avengers stories. It's not something that's reserved for when she shows up in an X-book. It's just most of the early Binary appearances were in X-Men or Starjammers stories from when Claremont was the one singular person at Marvel who cared about Carol.
