I can never really work that out either, the only office job I ever did was call centre shit and that was so fucking godawful I never wanted to work in an office ever again. 8 hours answering fucking phone calls and having to be nice to dickheads, a single day felt like it lasted a fucking year. I'm not sure anybody sane actually enjoys white collar work, that's probably why everyone's hopped up on anti-depressants these days.
