A big problem with the Superman movie which I find is going to make it dated fast, is how it undersells everything in it. Everything fantastical that happens is treated like a regular every day occurrence in Metropolis. Things are immediately introduced with no build up or pay off. They just happen. What seems fun in a comic page is played out like unusual weather in the day and life of DC world. It made all the action come off as boring, since not once did I ever feel like anyone was ever in any danger, or that anything really mattered once it was over.Even the ensemble of the Justice Gang felt like they were just there for padding, and could easily not even been in the plot and nothing would have changed.

>>149442573 (OP)Just say it's a bad movie. And that the only reason people are hyping it up is because they want a new MCU and they want to be contrarian about it.
