I thought Camazotz was the popular bat god.

In showings of Superman in Mexico they dropped this trailer, showing the film is now heading to theaters in September 18
>>149446217 (OP)I forgot about this. So who is between Two-Face and Ivy there?
>>149446353Pedro de Alvarado, he doesn't seem to have been mashed with any Batman character
Unrelated, based spics
>>149446217 (OP)Could be cool, but holy fuck does every work of fiction related to precolumbian America have to involve the Spanish or Europeans in some way? They existed for like 20,000 years before any contact with Europeans, yet they hyperfocus on this period of their history. Laziness
>>149446264No one cares about that Bat schizo...
>>149446556>yet they hyperfocus on this period of their history. LazinessThe historical trauma of the Mexico City fags. If you're talking about the Aztecs, you have to bring up the conquest and destruction of muh ancestors.
>mfw we could have had an Aztec batman before the arrival of the Spaniards and commissioner Gordon could have been king nezahualcoyotl.
>>149446556Where else are you going to get white people in the story so it is relatable to the audience?
>>149446217 (OP)I saw a trailer for it when i went to see Superman, wnd i immediately remembered it existed. Batman is using a macuahuitl, so i guess he's going to be doing some real damage to the spaniards, also, they should've commited and made qn Apocalypto, qnd have wll the Mexicas speak their native dialect, since the Spaniards do have the accent. I look forward to it, it seems to be pretty cool at least, and i want to see what "El Guasón" and Hernán "Dos Caras" Cortés do
Funnily enough, the earlier concepts had Joker as a conquistador
>>149446291It's made by a Mexican animation studio, tho, unless you mean us beans appropiating your capeshit classis
>>149447043He wears armor in the trailer, so he's the betrayer
Latinx kings can't stop winning
>all of Batman's sidekicks are sacrificed to ensure the gods favor his mission: to keep sacrificing kids
>>149446217 (OP)>Batman >set in the Aztec period Who the fuck even asked for this shit?
man i cant wait for Batman A Caveman Adventure. Batman Survives Skull Island.
Batman Vs Robocop. Keep milking Batman WB. there is never enough Batman to produce.
>>149447337>>149447324They saw Batman Ninja be a hit so now they want everyone to make their own "culturally appropriate" version
>>149447324Batman is like Popeye or the Muppets. You can just plop the cast into different settings and have it work.
>>149447382Now put Batman, Popeye and The Muppets into one film
>>149447801Seems difficult since Disney owns the Muppets.
>>149446217 (OP)Aztec Batman should be an actual a good guy which one doesn't appreciate human sacrifices and Joker actually a good guy too allying with conquistadors, looking good by far.

>>149446353i bet $100 that sword lights on fire
>>149446217 (OP)How the hell is a character with as much of an explicit no kill rule as Batman going to work in a world where you need to sacrifice children to the sun god so the moon godess doesn't literally eat the earth?
>>149448065If the no killing rule is a result of his environment, then a different environment Batman should be able to do that.
>>149446291So Americans finally came to terms with the fact that their "culture" is all artificial?
>>149446217 (OP)Aztecs were the bad guys
Spaniards were the good guys
>>149446217 (OP)>aztec batmanwhoa
how far south did the aztec empire go? because if it was as far down as where the Honduran White Bat lives, my old Batgirl redesign might actually happen for real.
I mean bats fly, yknow?
>>149446782>destruction of muh ancestors by muh ancestorsnaw spingles are cool, they know they are a new thing made of those two things
funny though, we do have that problem up here with the light beiges. Son i'm sorry but if we got all your ancestors in one room, at least 75% of them would be enslaving the other 25%. you gotta let go.
>>149447324see, Aztecs had a badass bat-demon-godcalled Kamazotz, so it's kinda asking for it. Venture Bros already kinda did this.
>>149446217 (OP)who the fuck are the first 2?
>>149448065They didn’t all believe in sacrifice. The faction that did were part of the Huitzilopochtli cult, they worshiped a war god. There was a cult that was against sacrifices, they followed Quetzalcoatl, a god of wisdom
>>149450632Funny you mention that, this Joker is a priest of Tezcatlipoca and the trailer kind of implies Tezcatlipoca influence is what drove him mad
>>149446374Alvarado? The child of sun and Spain's champion pole vaulter?
>>149446217 (OP)this looks fucking stupid
ivy sexo
>>149447362i forgot how sexo catwoman was in this movie, but i remember how stupid the twist with the joker was
>>149446556Onyx Equinox and Codex Black didn’t.
>>149446556How else are we supposed to get multiple, full frontal rape scenes?
>>149446217 (OP)>additional coverage at ColliderOh of COURSE those fags would shill this...
>>149446217 (OP)I'm glad they made Joker a Central American as well. Having him be a Spaniard would've been way too phoned in
>>149446217 (OP)the obsession with mexicans it's disturbing
>>149447337I swear we got a caveman Batman comic at some point
>>149448475all culture is artificial
>>149450173First one is Moctezuma Ilhuicamina and I believe the chubby guy is the Alfred equivalent
I thought Mexican Batman was this
>>149452875that's clearly mexican batwoman yoy fucking retard
>>149446353I'm guessing Deathstroke.
>>149451688Codex Black weirdly enough will overlap assuming the cast live to the ripe old age of 40.
The main problem was the Aztec Empire was only established as an independent Alliance in the 1420s. And spent most of the 1440s and 1450s in a state of unrest due to famine and drought.
Any story about it at its height will be within striking distance of the Spanish Conquest.
Are they going to show all the tens of thousands of natives who were helping the Spaniards because they wanted to overthrow the Aztecs?
>>149446217 (OP)cool, I need more El Tigre style mexican culture instead of "burning LA streets" mexican culture
>>149446291Should have distributed El Santo to America if you disagree with the notion of your noble savages being turned into a show for MY entertainment
>>149451936There's a cave-Batman in a requisite time travel episode of The Brave and the Bold.
>Guy who's entire thing is that he refuses to kill working to protect a culture that thrives off ritualistic human sacrifice.
