Well Mephisto seems to be in a jolly mood. I take it this strikes a nerve right spider fags oh and here is something else.

The soul forge is a ancient artifact. Whoever can access to it can control over all the over the souls on the whole earth. The forge can only be utilized after a scared incantation which is delivered along with the souls of descendants for a ancient cult know as the lords od darkness.

Whoever gains access to the soul forge puts the fate of the souls of the entire planet in danger. So the demon Mephisto is looking for souls for the soul forge which giving him control of everyone on earth using the soul daggers. Mephisto is recruiting villains throughout the whole plant to deliver the required souls and Norman Osborn was his firstborn. He promised Mephisto to deliver his son in exchange for power but the demon wants more and he forces Norman to also kill someone in the demon's name and it means Mephisto may be the reason of Gwen Stacy's death.

Gwen was Peter's soulmate. They were supposed to be married having kids but in the future as Spider-Man's daughter is the reason of Mephisto's defeat.

To get rid of all the Hickman YA dystopia shit from the universe and reboot the books in a contemporary setting Marvel can use forever and have access to all the toys in the toy chest.
Marvel greenlit Ultimate as just a place where Hickman can do Hickman shit and the other book don't have to acknowledge his crap, they didn't know the casuals would go gaga for a fresh jumping on point.
Now they going to fix the two things major things that keeps Ultimate from being evergreen and able to be sold forever, the fantasy setting and the 1 issue =1 month of comic time.
