Think this was biggest problem dexter has some of the most unique and fun one offs or side characters. Then don't use them love the show but feel dexter v dee dee gets old super fast and depressing at times especially in later seasons. So could benefit from a dexter hangs out with the weird goth girl ep. Or dexter with friends ep, or more eps like the dexter vs bully ep. The family is great but limiting why many took to the dee dee friends so hard they gave us some new dynamics
