Not much of a point for debate, Gunn would not be able to help himself but make the cartoon Legion of Doom and then make a shitload of jokes about Grundy being stupid, Scarecrow being useless, and Brainiac wearing pants and underwear.

We only need bizarro, cheetah (for fanservice), scarecrow as the gag character who seems to do nothing but actually fucks hard, joker sometimes joins the evil meetings to shake things up and make things fresh, and gorilla grod who hates obama for some reason

Scarecrow was only good for being a goon to other villains. He had no fear gas, he was just some weird guy dressed like a scarecrow trying to fight Superman and Flash.
