Because they are the only blu-rays worth getting.
They do full restorations, give all the special features, include everything, don't actually mess up the shipment of discs, etc.
This is what people want and they will pay for it. A far cry from stuff like the recent CN full series releases

I'd guess those are controlled by Warner Home Video. You'd think it wouldn't matter becasue they're part of the same company but part of the reason for years Warner Archive wasn't able to release Looney Tunes or Popeye etc on BD was becasue they're controlled by the WHV division and they wouldn't let them.

You know, sometimes people ask me why I chose to get Huckleberry Hound plastic surgery and I can't really give them an answer.

It's not because I'm afraid they'll dislike me or think I'm a freak or anything, it's that I just can't pinpoint an answer. I mean, yeah, the sexual attraction was always there, but I don't think that's really it. My dad was alcoholic. He was never really there, he was always wasting his time and money at the bar. Before he left for the bar, he would always tell me, "You stay there and watch TV and if you're not there when I get back… well boy, there'll be hell to pay." So I watched the TV. My favorite show was Huckleberry Hound. I just loved that dog; the way he talked, the way he sang and danced. It was great. I… I guess I looked at Huckleberry Hound as the father I never had. I mean, he taught me how to ride a bike, he taught me how to swim, he taught me everything. But I didn't just want to be LIKE Huckleberry Hound, I wanted to BE him. Well, here I am, Huckleberry Hound. This is me, this is who I was born to be.

Better 35MM interpositive prints of whats in Vol 1 have been found and the 35MM interpositive prints that were going to be used in Vol 2 were also replaced with better 35MM interpositive prints so the 2nd Tom and Jerry Golden Collection was canceled.

Maybe a complete Tom and Jerry Blu-Ray Collection with these updated prints since the 1st Tom and Jerry Golden Collection had some washed out prints for some of the cartoons.

The 35MM negatives were destroyed in a fire in the 1965 MGM fire, only the post 1951 MGM cartoons still exist in their 35MM negative format.

Not sure if it counts but Cats Don’t Dance is absolutely gorgeous on Blu-Ray. It’s almost as if it’s a 4K Ultra release.

My only downside is the lack of extras. All you get is the trailer and a few classic Looney Tunes shorts. (Daffy Duck in Hollywood is among the shorts included and it was such a riot to watch so it’s to too bad, you just don’t get BTS stuff)

I've heard the masters might be in poor shape too, something that's been a problem since 2006-ish. In the Turner days there was a bin of elements for bridging sequences and other miscellaneous shit that wasn't maintained, a lot of those elements have degraded in the 30 years since and would require a lot of work to reuse (if possible). Mind you, this was a vast improvement of how it was pre-Turner where everything was unorganized and did not have safety/backup prints for anything

What Warner Bros has are 16MM TV prints that are in poor shape, Sony who because of Screen Gems has the 35MM negatives to the Hanna Barbera library made between 1957 to 1966, thats how Warner Bros was able to remaster The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Top Cat, Johnny Quest and Magilla Gorilla since all Warner Bros had were 16MM TV prints.

With Huck and Yogi Warner Bros had to go to Sony to remaster their film stock because all Warner Bros had were 16MM TV prints and Sony the 35MM negatives.

Those 1940s Popeye Blu-ray sets. Not only do they look nice, but they also give a newfound appreciation for the famous studio shorts.

Didn’t think it was ever happening but they are working on the music and restoration rights issues and apparently are getting there
This selling well will probably cement a Quick Draw release happening if blu ray and Metv airings make clearing rights for a remaster viable

The Jetsons one sounds cool but I haven't bought it yet. I want to hear the audio commentaries by Janet Waldo.
