I'm 28 years old and just getting into reading comics again. Do you have any recommendations on what I should read?

I read Ultron Unlimited today, I liked that one even without being familiar with that run. I've also been on a Mike Mignola kick, so I recommend Hellboy as well as Doctor Strange & Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment. I haven't read Geoff John's Green Lantern run but I have heard nothing but good things about that one, another fun space adventure is Marvel's Annihilation. just a few, I'm a casual as well.

I've been reading Asterix again for the past few days as a 23 year old and holy fuck some things are a lot funnier when you're reading them as an adult. The books I particularly liked a lot more now compared to when I was a kid were Asterix And Caesar's Gift, and Obelix And Co. The Lucky Luke books from the same writer are really fun too

Your choices are limited.
>Marvel/DC
Constant events, reboots, renumberings, retcons and just plain bad writing.
>indie comics
Half-baked movie scripts turned into comics at best or genuinely good series that get cancelled before the story is resolved at worst.
The American comics scene is not in a good place and Euro comics aren't much better. Unless you're into historic fiction about the daily drama of a barber in France in 1682.
You can find really good stories in both categories, but get ready to be disappointed in the meantime.
Pic related is a recommendation. It's a fun adventure story inspired by hsitorical events and it has good action.
