But I AM reading H2SH, what do you mean? Yeah, it's the best Bat run since Batman Inc vol. 2, and sadly, it's not even that good, but Lee's art is still solid, and even at his worst, Loeb is still a better plotter than Snyder, King, Tynion, and Zdarsky at their best.
I also heard some good word of mouth about Dark Patterns, but it's an Elseworld, if I'm not mistaken, so I'm not interested in reading it yet. Batman & Robin: Year One is mid.

Absolute Batman has almost nothing to do with Batman. It's practically a whole different character, stamped with a Batman seal. You can think it's fun, but it's not Batman in any sense that matters.

It's the worst of both worlds; it has absolutely nothing to do with Batman, but at the same time the only hook it has is seeing what twist it has on established characters. If you did actually purge all of the Batman shit from it, it would be unsellable because it's boring garbage. Snyder is such a back, I don't understand why he still gets work.

I read the first three issues and dropped it. This shit is awful. Dark patterns has been enjoyable though to each his own.

Dark patterns isnt really an elseworld, certainly not part of the elseworld relaunch, it’s more of a soft continuity mini series. Very much worth it just for the art, which is funny because the artist is on Absolute Wonder Woman which I find hideous (to say nothing of the awful writing).
