Yeah, I've heard about that, but I'm still reading through it for the first time so I can't really judge since I'm not at that part yet.
I can say the stories do start to feel a little bit formulaic and repetitive somewhere along the line, though Agent Zero has probably been my absolute favorite so far.

That design choice in duck characters always bothers me too. It makes them look way too humanoid. They just don't feel like they fit in with characters like Donald, Scrooge, Daisy, the triplets, etc.
On the other hand, Gyro Gearloose canonically has human feet too. He's a chicken instead of a duck but he's part of the same universe. He also normally wears trousers instead of going without them like Donald or Scrooge. He doesn't appear to have tail feathers like the others. Because of the precedent set by Gyro, I suppose it's possible for a bird in Disney's duck comics to have a humanoid torso with human feet.
(I always found Gyro's legs similarly unsettling, though.
