Boondocks is a race show about race where all the characters talk about race nonstop.

It would allow other groups of people feel represented in media, helping their self esteems and self image.

No, and your racist fetishization should be relegated to porn where it belongs.

If representation is so important then blacks should be given or create their own black characters, rather than taking established white characters and race-swapping them, because either all you've done is take a white character, who still behaves white, and put them in a twisted version of black face, or you change a character so much that them sharing the name of the white character you changed is pointless.
Yla Eason had a problem with the lack of representation of black people in hero media when her son said he couldn't be a hero like He-Man because he wasn't white, but she didn't piss and moan about it and demand He-Man be changed to a black man, she founded a toy company that created original characters like Sun-Man designed to blend in seamlessly with existing toylines like Masters of the Universe and G.I. Joe that weren't just regular white toys made with darker plastic, they were specifically sculpted to have faces that looked like the race they were. THAT is representation, anything else is laziness at best, and the willful incitement of racial aggression at worst.

Will we ever see an official Black Lois again? I wouldn't mind if they gave her the DEI makeover as long as it appeals to my niche fanservice.

And when new Black characters are created or an existing Black character gets a push, people (especially on /co/) will whine about pandering and complain that a white character should've been pushed instead.

Of course /co/ is gonna complain because /co/ is the third most racist board behind /pol/ and /tv/, but it doesn't matter because it's still better for blacks to play black characters than it is for blacks to play white characters.
People would probably complain about blacks being pushed less if they stopped race-swapping characters. The problem is the race-swapping is so disingenuous. If it was really about diversity they wouldn't almost exclusively ever use blacks. The new MOTU film has three redhead characters and ALL of them are played by non-whites, 2 blacks and a latina. Why couldn't Man-At-Arms be played by an asian dude? Or a Native American? Or better yet, leave the white characters alone and introduce the aforementioned Sun-Man?

black and yellow is simply just a good color scheme. its why they always get electric powers

nobody complains about that when new black characters are created.

If Adora is black does that mean other characters have to swap races as well? Does Bow go back to being a Ginger?
