Happy Feet had tonal schizophrenia, with the shift from penguin dancing to a hamfisted environmentalist message in the second half. I had a much better time watching Surf's Up. The real question is whether Happy Feet 2 or Surf's Up 2 is the worse, more unnecessary sequel.
