God damn, how did a show that got memory holed by both audiences and the company itself manage to get that many episodes? It's good, don't get me wrong, but I've heard jack from this show in terms of a fandom or people who watch it. I bet many of you only vaguely know about this show because of Susie fanart

The show seemed like anti anxiety therapy. It’s probably great if you need that, but boring as shit if not. Everything from the colors to the designs to the stories and acting seemed like the sort of thing you’d conjure if you were really high and soaking in a bubble bath. I’m convinced that was part of Julia Pott’s process.

It was pretty much made just to chill and calm your mind for a little and nothing else

Why it got so many episodes is a mystery, but I'm so glad it did. It had a really good run and most other shows would have been milked into mediocrity if given the chance to have 6 seasons

Most people wrote it off because of the pilot being bad and by that time people were still in the midst of switching over to streaming where you can stream whatever you want and instantly forget about it after the stream ends
I assume CN didn't want to lose their grip on a successful Children's Book Author so they kept her around which no one was expecting

My problem with it is that it doesn't represent the show at all, and that the impression it left was strong enough for people to always bring it up on /co/ whenever the show is talked about. Which is fair enough I guess, people still talk about Regular Show's annoying romance stuff. I just hope it didn't turn people away from wanting to give the show a chance. The episode itself is maybe a 6/10 if I had to give it a rating

For me, the show felt more like early seasons of Adventure Time.
Stupid plots, it just works and weird characters galore.

I really disliked the pilot. Then I really came around and loved the show itself. I participated in the threads, really good time all around
Then for some reason I never watched past the first season. I didn’t start hating it or anything, I just don’t know what happened

A story about a girl who used to go on comfy whimsical adventures but after a decade she's now completely washed out and only remembers those adventures in faded memories that she thinks they're just passing fantasies could be interesting. Maybe have a moment where she goes back to the magical area and have her revert back to how she was when she left but her personality being so wildly different is making everyone feel like something wrong while she's trying to readjust to the magical world.
