If you're the kind of person to unironically ask that question, then literally EVERYTHING is too woke for you. I'd tell you to go stare at a wall, but the wall will somehow give you an excuse to rage about trans people.

It's an update of a toyetic cartoon made for 4-year-olds by LGBT white women trying to make sense of the original's lore. It has big flaws but is improved to modern expectations of serial plotting and character development.

If this is an actual question and not just you trying to bait.
Should you still decide to watch it, then just quit it when you start hating it instead of making more retarded dogshit threads.

Sorry I triggered you, but if what I posted did that, maybe this isn't the site for you. I just wanna watch a magical girl series where the main character kicks ass. I don't mind if she's a lesbian furry, but I'm not interested if the entire point of the series is just Stevenson pushing her agenda that chopping off body parts counts is a totally normal thing for people to want to do.

Sorry to tell you that I am not buttblasted or triggered at all. Simply telling you how it is.
Just watch the first episode and then come back only if you enjoyed it. You safe yourself valuable time by not obsessing over shows you never intended to enjoy.

You can @ me and tell me I'm retarded and wrong if you actually enjoy this though. I'm 100% sure you wont.

I enjoyed it, but be warned season 1 is lower quality than the rest, and also the seasons all don't have the same length, it's a lot shorter than it looks going in.

For all the lgbwhatever relationships in the show, this doesn't come up. Nobody is explicitly or even moderate-subtextually trans.
Also the best ship (other than the lizardman/twink/thick woman married throuple with no screentime) is straight.

This is a completely reasonable question. I probably would have just called it tumblr or something.
I'm gonna toss a bunch of bullshit comparisons your way, right? So stuff like Steven Universe is good but it's active political episodes are laughably bad but you can still shrug it off and watch it just fine. While there some of the more actively political episodes of something like Bojack or Helluva boss are unbearably blunt writing that's hard to stomach.
There's even well written very liberal shows like Boondocks that most people just kind of rub their neck on the message, and either silently, moderately agree or someone will write a 5 paragraph "made to be screengrabbed" rant on why it's secretly based.

I watched it recently and I would say it's not. The main problem is that it's a show written for children so the plots are overly simple and kinda boring. It is also made by trannies so there is is a fair amount of gay shit in it. However I would say that is has a pretty good artstyle and some really fun character moments/interactions, but I don't think that's enough to recommend it. I would skip this one.

Meh, I give it a 5/10. You can watch season 1 and skip straight to season 4. There's nothing interesting between seasons 2 and 3.
And the ending is very questionable with the "let's forgive the bad guys even though they're the reason for all our problems" theme.

All discussion of it by its "fanbase" immediately died the moment it ended a they all left to parasitize something else for dopamine and virtue signalling, leaving only people who hated it for its problems and people who think the girls make for decent fap material, just like Voltron: Legendary Defender, Steven Universe, and countless other shows.

So you tell me.

>>149494257
Actually it came out that She-ra is basically stevenson's Self Insert and that's why she has no tits, as Stevenson ended up cutting her own off.

She also based She-ra and Catra as a pairing off her own relationship where she slept on the cuck couch while down the hall her girlfriend would get fucked hard by men she'd bring over, with the door open while Stevenson listened.

The bad guys are a bunch of child soldiers, a clone raised in the cult of his DNA donor, and Shadow Weaver. And Weaver is a gleefully gloating asshole about getting forgiven, so it's not like the writers are presenting it as a pancaea.

Hmmm. I followed it when it came out, out of boredom mainly, but I don't remember much about it so it couldn't be good. Like, shit I remember many Kim Possible episodes and that thing is from 2002.
The show was extremely girly, and Adora loses the tits when she transforms, but I don't remember anything else tranny about that. Do keep in mind the show is from 2015 or 2016 and troons didn't come into existence until later in 2019 and the 20s. So it's rare for a show to have them before then.

The thing about She-Ra is that every season's ending is genuinely very good the problem is that the stuff preceding the season finales tends to be boring. So when anons here say it has high highs and low lows they are completely correct. The quality disparity is absolutely nuts but the season finales are arresting enough that you keep watching and trudging through. I remember the voice acting being surprisingly good too, the VAs had good voice direction. There's definitely better stuff to watch though.

I think it should have been a mini series honestly. Cut the fluff.

Somewhat.
As a MotU fan, I was frustrated that Hordak only has his first 3 henchmen (Mantenna, Leech, Grizzlor) and they were mute cameos. These characters haven't had VAs since the 1986 She-Ra season.

>If you think "IS IT WOKE?!" is a normal or reasonable thing to do then go into a restaurant or something and scream it at every menu item
Don't be a strawmaning fuckwit. Asking if something is woke is a perfectly reasonable question, especially on this site. It's a shorthand for "Is this thing I want to watch actually well written and respectful to the characters it's portraying, or is it just using a familiar license as a mouth piece to trick fans into watching it while the show runner ignores the legacy of the franchise to instead scream about their particular worldview?" I wouldn't go to /tv/ and ask "Is the movie Mambo Italiano woke?" because that would be stupid. But coming here and trying to learn whether this She-Ra series is actually about She-Ra or just Stevenson pushing the message "if a girl wants to be a strong warrior, then they need to cut their tits off and be boy!" makes sense.

ND Stevenson (and the series team, of course) have a knack to write really woke stories with actually enjoyable characters which makes this series ten times better than almost all the modern reboots out there. The designs are also appealing on a way which is like by the average internet user and the woke crowd which is also honestly an accomplishment since both group are unsuffrable.

TL;DR Yes, it's worth watching if you don't mind a little bit woke
