I never really understood the whole Penny coming out of her shell thing. It felt like it was a reference to something or commentary but it just went over my head.

Today I turned on CN to watch while I took a dump. Gumball came on and I thought "hopefully it's not one of the shitty episodes from the last couple seasons" and then of course it was the one about Bwonald Blomph deporting them. Disappointing but it fit in with what I was doing, which was taking a big smelly shit.
I have almost no faith in the new season being good but I'll watch some of it to make sure, since so much time passed there was probably a big turnover in staff. Expecting more stinkers though.
