One of the problems with the MCU has been that diluting your brand with too many projects and shows destroys the notion of fomo or fear of missing out, that anxiety which makes people consume. If you have 5 movies and a team up movie, people will watch every single movie. If you have 5 movies, multiple shows and no team ups, people will just not bother and let it pass them buy. The first DCEU had a different problem in that it went straight towards Justice League. Why not have Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Batman and then a Justice League film? People don't like 2 hour screenplays stretched into 6-8 episodes of a show that won't matter compared to a film. The only way to make your universe sustainable is to have a proportion of it be hyper consumers.

The TV show race swapped Crazy Jane from white to Hispanic/polish half breed and made Negative Man gay but it was a case where it worked out since Negative Man is a literal cipher character and comic Crazy Jane was so bland and a nothing person, she made Rei from Evangelion look like Lady Gaga.

That said, the team's Team Titans Go appearances from the last couple of years race swapped Rita black and replaced Negative Man with an OC character called Negative Girl who basically was an 8-9 year old girl in bandages ala Negative Woman.

Have them be an actual super team, and don't get flanderized into weird for the sake of weird like the show fell into. Pull from the recent book they had, Unstoppable Doom Patrol. That was great, and would work really well with the DCU theme of metahumans popping up. Throw in the Brotherhood of Evil and you're gold
