It just really bothers me how so much is lost the more polished and uniform it becomes in the final cut. It's not the ugliest show in the world, but I feel like had Hamster & Gretel been produced in the 2000s or even the 2010s, the final product would've looked WAY better. It really benefits from a little crudeness and wonkiness instead of aiming strictly for rigidness and on-model-ness. All the Dwampy shows do.

That's the one thing that always gets to me. Milo Murphy's Law already had plenty going for it, so committing to Doof as a series regular only robbed us of more time we could've spent with the massive cast of interesting characters introduced in Season 1. Was the PnF crossover not enough for Dan & Swampy?

I still enjoy this show, it's alot of fun and funny, some of the decisions they did in terms of how it looks wasn't the best, but it was still a fun watch, I do hope they bring it back.

I liked Milo , but season 2 bugs me because it feel like the network was scared and they had to incorporate Phineas and Ferb stuff, like Doof in it. I like Doof, but Milo should have stood on its own or they should have just done a that spinoff with him working for the O.W.C.A.

The wild west episode is one episode that stands out in my memory. They took the whole family curse idea in an interesting direction. It was a cool idea to have a town of time travelers that all got stuck due to Milo's ancestor.

Phineas and Ferb season 5 seems to be pretty well-received (no idea how it's doing with ratings or Disney+ watches or whatever they use to measure success now), but does anyone actually expect that to somehow revive Hamster & Gretel?
I feel like Phineas and Ferb's success is only gonna make Disney ask for more of that instead of something considerably less successful like H&G. At most, I could only really see the Hamster & Gretel characters showing up for a very special Phineas and Ferb episode.
Also, does anyone have that leaked original ending to Hamster & Gretel where they call out Disney?

I have the utmost respect and admiration for Dan Povenmire, but he can't help but show his age at times. His style of humor definitely doesn't go past maybe 2007, which I'd argue was the very last window of time where Phineas and Ferb could've been greenlit. Povenmire would've been ignored by TV executives had he not made it big before the 2010s

I don't watch shows like this for the animation quality, and I don't understand how anyone else does either.
That said, yes, the animatics are better. they should just use the animatics. I don't need that many frames.
