Why doesn't Western comics and cartoons get enough praises from Japanese mangakas and audience in general?

Because most cartoons, especially modern ones, are super low effort and shoddy compared to what they have in Japan. They can barely get AMERICANS to watch American cartoons anymore, there's zero chance you're getting the Japanese to watch them.
