2020s is the worst because there's literally no new cartoons.

The 2010s biggest problem was Millenials starting taking over production and they focused on making cartoons about trauma, activism and propaganda stuff.

There was barely an attempt to push the animation medium further. At best we had Klaus... in 2019... and it required a former Disney veteran to tard wrangle it.

I'd argue its actually the monetization of skill on the Internet. In the past we had a lot of drawfags because the thought of monetizing your fanart wasn't realistic. These days if you have even a little bit of talent you're better off posing one or two original pieces a month on Twitter with a link to a site to buy prints or support you on patreon.

2010s was pretty cool, its just that half way through the decade sjws took over the writers room(like pretty much every other facet of entertainment) shows became softer with a focus on life lessons and trauma instead of balls to the wall action. We literally see this happen with Rick and Morty, the first 2 seasons being genuinly entertaining before they literally kick the funnyman off the show for fresh out of college liberal arts majors.
