How come the Sorcerer Supreme is never an alien? Like aren't the Dire Wraiths generally more impressive magicians than humans? Their planet kicked Galactus's ass once.

Also isn't each dimension/plane/whatever allowed its own up to 2 Sorcerer Supremes? Shouldn't there be more running around?

What does this even mean Adam happily shared his power with 4 mentally ill people and Pip after being given the choice to share it or destroy his own universe in the fight to keep it. He never showed interest in the sorcerer supreme title or magic in itself either. Adam and Strange know each other well enough too to not question the others motive too much.

Strange hasn't been Sorcerer Supreme in years, Marvel takes the mantle from him because he doesn't sell comics even tho the concept is strong, people aren't invested in the character.

The logical choices, but both their books outselling Strange and we're already in the middle of a Sorcerer Supreme goes crazy crossover that both characters would eventually build up too also the cape fuckes with their look too much.

Winner winner chicken dinner, she's been all over the place since her resurrection, her mayor of demon town status quo already has a built in story dynamic that pairs well with the Sorcerer Supreme, unlike Magik she's not attached to the hip to current X-Men events, If it doesn't work Marvel can quicklybuild up Maddie's downfall story with an eventual showdown with Phoenix and most importantly she's popular with the variant cover collectors so Marvel can sell extra comics to stores
