Tracy turns 45 this year. She was 26 when Lackadaisy started.
In the last 19 years she only managed to release 2.3 volumes of the comic.
Assuming each volume would be around 80 episodes long and that she would need at least 10 volumes to wrap the story up...
Well, even with one episode a month, she would need over 50 years to finish it.
With weekly chapters, she would need at least 12 years.

Basically, the comic is fucking doomed unless she works herself to death.

The easy solution is simply doing each chapter full time, and not doing 1 page at a time, but all roughs, all lines, all basic colours, then all shadows/highlights.

Your calculations are missing her reasons for thee slowness. She had a demanding job first, then a demanding animated adaptation project.

Lackadaisy was intended to be either 3 or 4 volumes long. In theory, finishing the comic should be doable. But with the cartoon taking Tracy's attention, I don't think she's gonna continue the comic.

1. Togashi normally does lines only, with very basic black&write colouring. And he works fast(er). When he is not distracted by hobbies or being very sick. Which is most of the time. 2. Tracy is very protective of her art, and is a perfectionist. Who does lines fast, but finishes MEGA SLOW. She wants every page to look like a painting, and yet does not want assistants. Ever.

Im the only one who finds Freckle and Rocky boring? One is shy with a crazy violent side, and the other is good with crazy violent side (neither of them is funny). Its like the author take a flat character and made it even more flat dividing it in 2 characters.

In essence. Their chemestry could work, if we make it conflictive. Emphasizing on Freckle bottling his irritation, frustration and ire at Rocky for getting him into trouble. And Rocky wanting to be more than the weirdo that he is, hetting into miscallanous hazzards in the process.

Eh, its been years since the comic updated, so I don't have any real hopes of actually seeing the story even closed to finished.

Especially with the show taking all of the creators attention now. God knows how long that'll take to come out either (if nothing stupid happens to waste the kickstarter money and tank the project, which could easily happen)
