Yeah I constantly see people group it in with the bad seasons and it endlessly confuses me. It’s probably the most consistently good season out of all the seasons post-S3.

I used to like Rick, Morty, Jerry, and even Summer. Now I don't care about a single character. So none of them. Rick and Beth (both of them) are the most tiresome at the moment however.

That's more than previous seasons. If anything s8 took the typical R&M duo adventure eps and divided them in half to give screentime to the other characters. 3 Beth episodes, 2 jerry eps, 2 summer... We also got a (very based) citadel ep, which will probably be the last.
