It's a cartoon. They aren't real people.

This, you should never judge any media ever except for documentaries because the characters and situations are fake. No discussion should ever occur regarding fiction.

Wasn't this a rare case where Lisa "lost" because she was rightfully hated by the girl and her father for what she had done?

Lisa being jealous and spiteful over her self-perceived "greatest and best person in the room" status is actually a decent twist on the annoying soapbox personality the character developed.

Been like a decade, but IIRC Lisa did that thing she sometimes does where she has a mental break once she realizes she's only "smart" in Springfield and gets blown out of the water by actually gifted people.
When the girl she was taken down a peg by ended up in a life threatening situation, Lisa left her to fend for herself. She later caved in to the guilt, confessed everything, and the girl was rescued.

Lisa had a crush on a country boy who only appeared for a single episode (title is the filename). When she overheard the boy telling another girl "I love you" on the phone, she sent the girl into the woods when she asked for directions to a dance they were all going to. Then Lisa found out the girl was actually the boy's sister, and after she rescued the sister and confessed everything, the boy was pissed and dumped Lisa, never to be seen again.

Self-correction, it was raging rapids, not the woods. I don't remember if Lisa knew where she'd end up either, as long as it was away from "her" man.
