It's because the writers are awful at comedy. I can rewatch things like Regular Show or Dan Vs and they still have funny gags. Helluva Boss has never truly been funny because its idea of comedy is to be as shock factor outlandish as possible. Well that was awful. You know what I would make for a short? One idea is remember what Millie said in Ghost Fuckers?

"Blitz you haven't paid us in MONTHS!"

Have an episode abotu Millie, Moxxie, and Loona hunting Blitzo down all over the rings of Hell with wacky shenanigans because he hasn't paid them and they want their money to pay their bills. That alone lends itself to comedy. You can have Blitzo retaliate all of them and at the end of the Tom and Jerry routine the group traps Blitzo and punishes him and confiscates his cash. Throw in a bonus line with Blitzo being covered in injuries saying "Why Loonie! I'm your father!" And Loona rips out one of his eyes saying someone needs to ensure certain bills and taxes truly are paid for on time.

And that in itself leads to a new comedic situation Blitzo forgetting to pay for something like maybe taxes and it leads to the demon IRS coming after him. Another wacky episode. That's what I mean its so simple to get creative especially when this series refuses to do so. Many situations haven't even been attempted.
